'Tis Autumn

In today's free ukulele lesson we're learning the 1942 jazz standard by Henry Nemo - 'Tis Autumn.

We'll be doing this based on the 1947 Nat King Cole trio recording in the key of Bb so that you can play along with the master himself.

This is a great intermediate swing ballad with a few challenging chord changes but if you learn the chord progressions slowly you'll be strumming along in no time.

If you want to take this song to the next level join us on the Magic Ukulele Club where we'll be spending the month learning more advanced chords, the melody, how to improvise chord melody and more in a series of 7 lessons and livestreams throughout the month. All lessons are archived so that you can go through at your own pace and includes access to my Fundamentals of Swing Ukulele to get you started no matter your level.

If you're in the London area join me and 4StringBoy (aka Sammy Turton) for a special concert at Batsford Gallery - Tickets here - as part of the Magic Ukulele Retreat (there's still one ticket left for the retreat if you'd like to join in the fun.

Cheers!

Christopher.
